Maureen Hanrahan
Maureen Hanrahan is a Senior Consultant at ArpegioHealth, specializing in managed care, prevention planning and publicly funded health care services such as Medicare, Medicaid and CHIP. Her specialty is strategic planning and implementation for ArpegioHealth’s clients.
Maureen brings subject matter expertise, insights into the impact of health care reforms on public programs, extensive expertise in managed care program development and management, population-based prevention and innovative solutions within a variety of health care delivery systems.
Maureen Hanrahan has more than 30 years of experience in the field as a health care provider, administrator and managed care leader, most recently in a senior management role at the largest not-for-profit health plan in the country, Kaiser Permanente. Her vast experience in the private and nonprofit health care sectors serves our clients well, especially as we approach significant health care reforms for low-income populations.
Prior to joining the ArpegioHealth team, Hanrahan served in regional and national leadership roles within Kaiser Permanente for more than 24 years. She has been responsible at the national level for strategic planning, implementation, policy development and evaluation of products and services for the most vulnerable populations such as Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP and Kaiser Permanente’s program for the uninsured. She has served on the national team responsible for developing Kaiser Permanente's annual community benefit investments of more than $1billion, the obligation of not-for-profit organizations to provide care and address unmet health needs of the community. Hanrahan has also brings unique expertise in school-based health care, alternatives to nursing home care for the frail elderly, and development of nationally recognized preventive services and programs.
